BackupWordPress is a fabulous plugin and it is free in the WordPress repository. The free version of the plugin allows you to have complete WordPress backup with automatic scheduling support.

The plugin allows you to create different schedules for database backup and files/folder backup which can be stored on your hosting within the same directory in which your WordPress is installed.

Backup has to be done manually and automated backup options are not available.
